Spirit Blossom is the most common skin line with 31 of 173 champions. Add SKT T1 and T1 together and they tie at 31
2026-10-31

Out of 2006 skins, 74% of the 931 line names belong to a single champion. Spirit Blossom leads with 31, and T1's Worlds skins combined hit the same 31.
Spirit Blossom. Count every skin line across League's 173 champions and this is the one handed out to the most champions: 31. That's about 18% of the roster, roughly 1 in 6. Second place is a tie between High Noon and PROJECT at 28, followed by Star Guardian and Pool Party at 25.
How I counted
I took ddragon's skin list (patch 16.21.1) and removed default skins and chromas, which leaves 2006 skins. Strip the champion's name from each skin name and what's left is treated as the line, then I counted how many champions have that line. Prestige editions and spin-offs like Springs count as separate lines (fold them in and Spirit Blossom grows to 36 champions). Source: Riot Games' official ddragon data.
That process turns up 931 line names. Of those, 691, 74% of all lines, are used by exactly one champion. Only 35 lines reach 10 or more champions, so League's skins are a handful of big lines plus a huge pile of one-offs.
Top 10 skin lines by champion count
| Skin line | Champions | Share of 173 | Example |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spirit Blossom | 31 | 17.9% | Ahri |
| PROJECT | 28 | 16.2% | Zed |
| High Noon | 28 | 16.2% | Lucian |
| Star Guardian | 25 | 14.5% | Lux |
| Pool Party | 25 | 14.5% | Lee Sin |
| Blood Moon | 23 | 13.3% | Shen |
| Victorious | 22 | 12.7% | Sivir |
| Hextech | 20 | 11.6% | Ziggs |
| SKT T1 | 17 | 9.8% | Ryze |
| Coven | 16 | 9.2% | Syndra |
Victorious is the ranked season reward, so it gains one champion every single year. SKT T1 and Coven sneaking into the top 10 at 16 to 17 champions surprised me a bit.
Add T1 and it ties for first
In the data, SKT T1 (17 champions) and T1 (15) are listed under different names. The team name changed, but both are the same team's Worlds championship skins. Only Lee Sin has both, so combined that's 31 champions with no overlap, exactly tied with Spirit Blossom. One team winning over and over has matched Riot's flagship seasonal line. That's absurd.
Champions in the most top-10 lines
Counting how many of those 10 lines each champion appears in, Akali and Syndra lead with 5. Ashe, Evelynn, Master Yi, Yasuo, Zyra, Jhin, Renekton and Janna follow with 4.
On the flip side, 47 champions, 27% of the roster, aren't in any of the 10. Garen, Nasus, Cho'Gath, Fizz and Pantheon are all here (Garen with no High Noon and no Pool Party is hard to believe).
The bee skins that rewrite the name
Separate from line names, some skins rewrite the champion's name itself. Bees are by far the most common: Beemo, King Beegar, Bee'Maw, Bee'Koz, Yuubee, Beeko, Beezahar, Beezcrank, Orbeeanna, Heimerstinger and Nunu & Beelump, 11 in total. There are also three cat ones: Meowkai, Meowrick and Kittalee.
English goes all in on puns, but when I checked the French names for the 10 non-Nunu bee skins, every single one just adds bee after the name, like Teemo abeille and Veigar abeille. In Korean, 7 of the 10 start with 꿀잼, a word that mixes honey with really fun. Each language takes the puns very differently.
Takeaways
By champion count, even the top line, Spirit Blossom, reaches only 1 in 6. Skin lines are more spread out than I expected, and 74% of line names stop at one champion. The biggest find for me is that one team's Worlds skins, T1, hit the same 31 as Riot's flagship line. New lines keep coming every year, yet nearly 30% of champions, Garen and Nasus included, barely get invited to the big ones.
